I have a 2017 white DCSB thinking a set of smoked low profile cab marker lights might look good to retired truck driver geezer .

    Any suggestions ?

"Raptor" lights in the grille would be a LOT less trouble then trying to drill holes in the roof and running the wiring.
35 years OTR driving myself, by the way...

    I'm a child of the '70s, so yeah, i can sympathize :)

I've already got a roof rack and 40" LED bar on mine - at present unwired (going on a few months now).

My thought was to 'double-duty' that lightbar, and make a lens cover (technically legally required here for on-road use - hence my not wiring it yet) that would snap over the lightbar, with a restriction/diffusion lens over every third LED in the centre bank of the lightbar. It would be a modern approximation of that 1970's trend.

I know the headliner had to be dropped, so while it was dropped I had them Dynamat the ceiling area. They had to drill a hole through the cab for each light to run the wires. Then I think they ran down the driver side pillar into the fuse box. They automatically go on with the daily driving lights I believe. Got them off eBay. I know they came from China but they seem to be pretty decent and have no problem with them sealing at this point.

Found the thread I need. Yeah i'm old school also. Put a sports rack on my truck for a kayak and trips to Home Depot. It has four light mounting tabs up front. At first i was thinking fog lights, but I don't think they would work well where they would be positioned. I would also be limited to a light bar or 4 inch because they can't stick up above the bar. So my thoughts have turned to marker lights. I'm thinking round amber post mount. ????
