Did you remove the interior kicker panels an pull the carpet back to expose the head of the cab mount bolt like pictured below? You have to put a wrench or socket on the head of the bolt to keep it from spinning while tightening from underneath. There will also be a black plastic cover you will need to remove after pulling the carpet back to expose the bolt head.

The standard bushings also don’t hold up very well, I blew mine out in less than a year and I kept having to retighten them so I upgraded to their premium bushings an haven’t had any issues sense.

    COOL Stuff I can't afford . . . But I bought anyway!
Gotcha! Thanks. My bushings don't look compressed much at all. I'll pull the panels and tighten. Where did you get the premium bushing? From alpine designs?

Sure thing. Alpine designs recommends retightening them after a few days from a fresh install anyway, they stress not to over tighten them which isn’t hard to do. Personally I think the standard bushings are just a little too soft.

Yes they have them available on their website.

I have just a bmc on 315/75r16 0mm castered SPC's and they dont rub the cab mount specifically. They just rub everything else under there.

Another thing to consider is strength of the relocation. Here is a mutual friend's 4R with a relocation. Keep in mind that he wheels REALLY hard. Triple bypasses, the works.

After seeing this, I am going with the DRT fab kit as well.

The DRT fab kit is the only one on the market with a frame plate that gets welded to the frame. I would say it's the strongest one on the market when installed correctly with proper welds as it transfer force to the frame through out the full frame plate. It also completely surrounds the bushing. I can't see it being any weaker than the stock mount. I am super happy with mine, my passenger side took a gnarly hit recently on a perfect rock like a champ.

Should I go with CMC or CMR? I have an appointment scheduled at Stellar Built for a CMC soon which I'm told will give an additional inch of clearance here. They say the CMR will give me about four more inches. I am really close to the CM right now. It doesn't rub on the street but does off toad. This is a 285/70/17 KO2.20220928_074654.jpg

    CMC will be plentyyyyyy

I would not CMR unless its a dedicated trail rig IMO.

I dont exactly see the point of cab mount relocates. When I cut mine I cut it back inline with the firewall. More cab mount clearance would mean youd rub the firewall instead of the cab mount.

Pic of how much clearance I gained from a CMC

I was concerned because I'm a quarter inch from the cab Mount right now when wheel is turned. If the chop only gives me an inch that doesn't get much room for flexing.
