    Help.
    The vehicle- 2005 sr5 4cyl 5speed 4wd
The problem- when accelerating all the way up to highway speeds my truck makes a roaring almost like tire noise however it will go away in turns. It does this in 2wd and 4wd on pavement and gravel. There is no slack in the steering wheel, tire wear is even on brand new Toyo AT (it also did on last set of wild country AT). Truck doesn't pull in any direction.
Things I've tried- changing front diff oil. Changing tire pressures. Checked all u joints(haven't greased yet).
Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated

For clarification before going too much further... you've been driving it and turning on pavement whine in 4wd??

No I simply put it into 4wd to see if the noise would go away. It is not specific to 2wd or 4wd

Sounds like a hub bearing issue.

Ok good... and yes I agree with the hub, mine did the exact same thing before failing.

Sorry if I sounded rude op, just wanted to clear that up to be more sure it wasn't a 4wd issue

It's all good, I will look into the bearings tomorrow when I get time and see if they have any play when the truck is jacked up
