I recently installed a GFC Topper with beef bars and I'm trying to add a cab rack and have a hard time finding installed heights. Im measuring 4.25" at the shark fin, anyone with cab racks able to take a measurement of their racks at the same spot?

    Cab racks I'm considering:
    -Frontrunner
    -Sherpa
    -Prinsu

    Thank you.

What are you trying to achieve? Same height from the topper rack to the cab rack? I ran into a similar issue with the smartcap by rsi. I ended up getting front runner racks because I wanted them to sit even. I’ll grab a measurement for if you’re looking at the slimline 2. E4242197-5C11-4207-B6F5-4CC5149ADD7A.jpg

I need the cab rack height to be slightly lower than the beef bar height. I have an Alucab RTT that goes over the cab when it’s installed. When it’s not in camp mode, I use the truck for a ton of projects. When I have long loads like lumber or pipes, I don’t want the cab rack to be too low.

Appreciate the measurement of you get a chance.

For reference, I have a matching cab/topper racks. Both are front runner slimline 2’s. The topper rack sits slightly higher than the cab rack, this helps when I have the Ikamper mounted to the topper which extends over the cab rack without hitting it. The front runner mounting legs on the topper can also be adjusted vertically a little under an inch. I have them at the lowest setting. 4160B712-1653-4247-91E3-498DFE3DDC58.jpg8CD1D113-4C18-4BF4-951F-87C0C1203DFC.jpg

@Martian__ Thanks for the measurement. Looks like the beef bars are almost an inch lower than shell/FR-tray setup.

To confirm, your cab rack is the model that is a bit taller to accommodate the FR camp table?

Yes, the slimline 2. If you look closely at the first picture I posted, you can see the latch for the table on the cab rack. I can also slide the table under the topper rack.
