^^^Now I want to take the cowl off and clean all that mess up. Was it just the nut holding the wiper arm on after popping the plastic cover off it?

I buy stock cabin filters online, usually 3 at a time. Check and clean every 5k, spray a little Febreze on the filter, nice and fresh.

Yes. And the arm spring tension. Since its a splined shaft you have to lift on the arm a bit to make any tension even out, then just lift straight up at the mounting location.

Every time I buy a used car of any kind that’s the first thing I check for and the air filter those are two main things that people don’t really think about

Is this how the leaves and debris gets into and collects in the door jam area where the rubber plug is covering it? I always have to pull that rubber plug back and vacuum that crap out. How do you stop that?

Pulled the cowl and took it all apart to clean it. This is what was under there.

    And the other side.

Those two plastic cups were full of junk and there is a drain at the back of each that needed to be cleared out.

    Post 21.

The screen and hot glue step.

While even that won't be 100%, you'll be shocked at how much it helps.

I used the dirt line under my wipers to realign them.

This is also a prime spot for rust to start.

Yep, everything I vacuum I always do those also. There’s always something in there.

This is the pile of pine needles I pulled out from the passenger front fender in front of the door. You really need to keep an eye on that area like mentioned.
