I replaced my CAF and with it came a mouse nest :-/ It still smells of mouse piss. 2 questions; What is the routing of air to the suction side of the CAF, and is there a spray of some kind that will neutralize the smell? I got the nest out, but wonder if there is somewhere upstream that they could have another nest? TIA Cheers, Dave

The intake is under the cowl below the windshield.i put a metal screen over it and that seems to have solved the problem. While your at it screen your engine air intake in your fender they have been known to chew through your air filter and potentially cause lots of damage.

I used this in my f250 that had been sitting in a feild for years with the windows down I think it killed everything. I also had a rat crap in my cabin air filter on my Tacoma as well I caught it fast so the stench didn’t linger for too long. This stuff really works I opened it and left it for a few days.

I use these in my engine bay the rats don’t like it so they won’t enter the engine bay and tear up stuff.
