Has anyone ever changed a cabin filter in an 02 trd. I purchased mine about 6 months ago and the previous owner must have smoked like a train. Hopefully that will do the trick but Im curious how hard they are to change. Thanks

none of the first gen tacomas have a cabin filter.

best bet is probably to shampoo the seats, carpet and headliner and get a good spray deodorant/air purifier to spray in there.

for that, you can probably get an a/c refresher service, and it will clean out all that crap thats giving the foul odor.
