When starting my truck, it sounds like the engine is right in the passenger seat and then at HWY speeds, the wind noise is terrible coming from the passenger side. Anyone else have this issue? I can literally hear the gravel scraping on the concrete as if all my windows were down when turning in and out of parking lots at low speeds.

There's gotta be a seal missing somewhere. Have you checked the weatherstripping around all your doors? Seals around the windows? Do you get water in the truck when it rains or when you wash it?

When you start your truck, does the sound you hear get quieter after 10-15 seconds? On the '12's the air pump will run on start up and it is loud enough to hear in the cab. For wind noise, check the door seals. Close the door on a thin piece of paper and verify it has a lot of drag to pull it out (or rip).

I haven't noticed it getting quieter after I start it. I can definitely go check though. It's just the initial crank of the engine I hear and then the loud wind noise at HWY speed. All the seals to me look good and not dry rotted and no water gets in my truck when it rains or I wash it. I will go and do the paper test like you suggested. On a side note, I did have a K&N air filter in for about 6 months, decided to replace it with a stock one, and about 5 days after I did this, the noise started. Any chance this is related?

If it happened after changing the filter, pop the hood and make sure the intake hoses are all still connected.

I wouldn't think the filter would be related, but check it to ensure nothing has been sucked up into the intake.

All the hoses are good and the paper does slide out relatively easy, but it is tight when pulling it through.
