Cable Upgrade, Alternator to Battery Help -- Resolved

    Referring to first post, I would leave the oem wiring in place and just add a battery to alt cable. Should the fuse in the new cable blow out, you may still have power to the fuse box via the oem cable, thus, maintaining power to the cabin. Of course, what blew the fuse may blow both fuses, but maybe not.
    What I did was run a 1/0 from alt to a junction post, then attached the original alt cable to it, and added a fused 2-gauge cable that went to the battery.

    I did re-install the OEM cable, alternator to original fuse block location.
