What kind of mileage changes do you guys see after installing cold air intakes? Thinking about the TRD intake and wondering if the mileage would increase enough to offset the price a little. Thanks

    Welcome to TW.
FWIW... I've heard installing a CAI will decrease mileage. A lot of people report a much more responsive throttle though. The 2nd gen. Tacomas already technically have a "cold air intake" as air is pulled from the right front fender.

you are correct stock v6's have a cai. I dont even really notice a more responsive throttle like others have said, i notice more of a pull at higher rpms like the truck just wants to take off, it almost seems more bogged down at lower rpms. could just be me tho. The only thing I really noticed were a nice sound coming from under my hood and a little more pull at higher rpms.
