    2007: Avid sliders, 30% front tint, Truxedo low-pro qt tonneu cover, aero turbine 2525 muffler w/ 8'' tip, AR25 Resonator, 16x8 Dick Cepek DC-1 w/ 265/75 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, 2010 headlights, ome 884 coils with .5'' top plate spacer, OME sport front shocks, blisten 5100s rear, 2'' aal, locking gas cap, LR ucas, Viper 2-way remote start, afe drop in filter, Rocky locking bike mounts, gear chest, scanguage, pop n lock tailgate lock 2013: most things transferred over from my 07, 5100s @ .85 + eibachs, wheelers progressive aal w/ overload
    Personally I'd keep saving for the lift. The intake is only going to offer very minimum, if any, benefits. The lift would be more beneficial and worth your money.

    ya thats what i was thinking but when i ride in my friends tacoma it just sounds so sick and it makes me want to get the CAI

    Get the CAI and if you don't stomp on the gas too much is should help save you a little at the pump and you can put that towards your lift.

    I have the TRD intake and I wish i'd gotten my lift first. It does sound really nice at high rpms and it did make my exhaust sound deeper :), but you just have to ask yourself if you want to spend 300+ dollars on something that will not offer much power gain and primarily only make sound.

    isnt there a way of removing something on the stock intake to make it sound louder? thought i read that somewhere, might be of some help to you

    Well there's the deck plate mod, but that's only for 1st gen tacos.
