I thought that truck was super cool back in the day

aren’t the wheels just the TRD beadlocks? Or are the Baja wheels different? We got a set of the TRD ones from the dealer, they were on my brothers truck.

 

ya i always thought they were neat but could never find one back when i got my 13 tacoma.

and tbh idk? i know the 15 trucks had a different wheel i think? the nice thing about the knockoff is they are 17s which is what i run now so i could easily swap wheels and not have to get new tires.

 

Pretty sure they are just the beadlocks. They are had three colors (black, grey, bronze)

most likely ya its been a loong time since ive seen them. that does look like them but they are 16s so not useful to me lol

 

How’s the camera on this unit? I have the same radio and I’m looking to add the factory camera to my single cab but if it’s not that good, then I may just go aftermarket which I was hoping the factory camera was nice.

 

the camera it self is fine. the issue is the headunit it self.... if any bit of sun hits the headunit display then you cant see shit

doing all right tbh just here haha waiting for certain things to be over next month so i can start looking into more motorcycles lol i want a 2 stroke dirtbike before summer time... sportbike can wait until i feel like it lol

Was browsing marketplace and found my old bed rack that I use to own so had to go snag it.

For the power,comfort and ease of towing yes but overall no I don't... It was a great truck but it can't be a great truck if it leaves me behind with issues... Other massive downside is it was a bastard child in the aftermarket world.. there is a good amount of things but not much like a Tacoma so everyone's build was the exact same with the exact same 5-7 different parts...

 

Yeah I can see that. Seems the same way with my truck. Better in almost every single thing but not as good as a Tacoma quality wise.

Yeah it seems every modded Ranger is just a mix and match of the same stuff

Oh and a while back I mentioned to you that my trans was shuddering. Well the extended warranty I bought is covering a trans rebuild!!

 

Yuuup it's annoying tbh... It would be such a great truck if they just gave a shit...

For real... There is very few options for anything so it's everyone choosing the same stuff.

did a lot today! first went to blip our local coffee place that is our sunday meetup spot and then to go ride a bit! we didnt get coffee here thou since as much as we love blip the coffee sucks... so went and tried a new place that was pricey but very good! then went to this old burger place thats been around since 1937! pretty good tbh! then i found a monkey! oh and micky mouse lol

after all this! i came back to mess with the truck and after 4-5 hours? (according to the gf i dont remember how long lol) but the rack is back to being bare aluminum! still got more work to do but its getting there!

 

Well tried to see if the tent would fit on the rack and fit in the garage annnnd it don't... So time to list it and sell it and get a hardshell tent so it's more low profile oh well. Guess a new bike will be on hold for a bit since I got stuff I want to do with this truck first

 

It does look the part haha. The rear leafs sag a bit but I don't think they are sagging anymore then they already did
