I hear that! It's been an interesting journey with my GF and camping. It started out as one of the things that made her unsure if we'd be a good fit, now she's ALLL ABOUT IT.

Tent camping. Queen air mattress with bedding, no sleeping bags. cook all meals over open fire, but supplement with a camp stove. No moto involved. My moto camping means....



When I'm with her it's with a canoe, bikes and the dog.

 

yiiikes that looks awful! we had a 95 jayco that never leaked until like 2010? and it looked waaay better then that

 

ya she has never been camping but wants to go camping and ride dirtbikes with me. only thing thats a no is bugs she hates bugs haha i will most likely do cheap setup with camping with her first before buying a new rtt or trailer setup. pluuuus i reallly want a newer 2 stroke trail bike haha so that kinda makes me not want to pay moneys for a rtt or trailer.

My sister just sold her campground in Maine, and we've got a big ol' RV (Ford V10 powered 30 footer) 'worth' obscene money in the extended family, and based on everything I've seen in recent years, short of Airstreams or Opus, they're all the equivalent of WalMart funiture.

Having said that the Sunray is 'cheap', and small enough that you could get after it annually and keep up with sealing.

Having said that....you'll notice I've spent exactly zero dollars on anything along those lines.

Finally not clapped/old and worn out suspension! Yes it's nothing fancy but it should do me fine for years on what I'm wanting to do. I also am waiting on one more thing to come in so that's why I got around to fixing my winch line since it was torn off at the hook from a xj many years ago... So now everything in the picture hopefully will go on this weekend! Got a buddy coming to help out as well! No I don't need the help but I haven't seen the guy since before my accident so it will be good to hang out again!

got new control arms also on order and should be here friday!

Final thing silver bumper or black bumperno not a full bumper a slimline mount haha

Uhhh it does things. It was tuned many years ago and ATM my cb don't work so it's not hooked up to anything ATM haha gonna get a new cable so I can hook it up to my gmrs thou

 

After a long day both projects are done well minus the truck needing an alignment and the bike needing the little things that allow you to put the hand guards on... I started all this at 1030am ish? Had my buddy Austin come over to help with the front end and oh boy did I need it those upper control arm bolts were stuck! So I took a break before he showed up to work on the bike and put the new bars on and welp I forgot a part and the dealer I go to was closed so thankfully cycle gear was open and keegan ran out and got them for me so after everything was bolted down and cleaned up it's almost 7pm and I'm tired AF...

Working on another project I've been wanting to do which is make my tonnel cover work with my bed rack. Well sorta work since it won't be able to fold because of the rack buuuut it will at least cover the bed. I still got a tiny bit of trimming to do and also get the cover cut and restitched to the new width. But getting there! It's at least bolted down now

 

And since I post my bike in here as well I finally got my new graphics for the headlight shroud!

what we got here is a 97 ex civic coupe shell that im going to take evvvverything from my red coupe and put it on the black coupe to have a cleaner body with no issues! so let the tear down and rebuild begin!

Been a bit busy this weekend again haha. Helped my buddy install his new hks coilovers on his 2019 civic so sedan which maaan he needs to buy more tools haha. Doing all that work with basic hand tools suuucks!

Then doing some deep cleaning on the house and making sure everything is good to go for when the gf shows up for her visit this upcoming weekend. While doing this my dad called and said his old grasshopper zero turn sheared the drive axle off so had to winch it up onto the trailer for him. I've been asked before why put a winch on a truck I don't plan to wheel? Well for stuff like this tbh helping family out ok random odd things or helping friends out.
