    How is everyone protecting their additional lights from stone strikes around Calgary and on the highways? I lost one of my Hella 500ff's in the line of duty last week and just replaced it (and goddamn my fingertips are cold!).

    I've been using them a fair bit for work, and forgot to put the stone covers back on before hitting the highway. I have Lamin-X that kept it from shattering, but she was toast.

    Anyone have luck with these?

    I find my solid covers tend to freeze on, and the grills don't look like they offer much protection...

    Or is losing a light once in a while just the cost of doing business? haha.
