    Can you explain? Why buy it over the original? Just curious.

    $549 vs $199.

    That should be enough reason.

    Main reason I ask is, I’ve been down that road of “who needs a $500 20” light bar” or “$300 for light pods is too much” and I’ve bought the cheap crap and you get what you pay for. Moisture in lenses, faded housings and lens, shitty optics... and now that I’ve got the “expensive shit” I see why it’s so much, you get what you pay for.

    As for switches and wiring, that’s kind of a big deal. I don’t know that I want some mass produced cheaper knock-off housing 100A of power. Is it really apples to apples? I’m all for not paying more for the exact same thing because of a label, but want to be sure I’m getting the same... take the grille GB, that’s apples to apples so why pay more for a Toyota labeled box, I get it.

    @CaliRaisedLed I’m just asking if this really is a direct apples to apples copy of the SP8100.

    Make sense?

    Our switch system is a similar product in looks and general function but it’s not the same thing as an 8100. We think it’s a great product that serves a good value at $199 and many people will like it’s simple features. It’s all about different peoples needs.

    Great to hear. I just was reading the description on your site and felt like déjà vu with the wording ;)

    Differences to reflect the price cut may be what? Wire sheathing? Or quality of metals? Does it have the different features the 8100 has like flasher and strobe? Just want to know because I’m ready to purchase and want to make sure I’m buying the right product. Saving money is always a plus, but don’t want to take money saved and put it out to re-buy, I’ve learned my lesson in many different product categories over the years.

    @CaliRaisedLed

    Thank you

    Sounds good.

    I’m also interested in knowing if the size and mounting is the same, I’ve got two mounts I bought that were made for Switchpro, not sure which option I like better.

    I now have switch and will be checking into the install this weekend. I already have wired the controls up to the sunglasses holder and will finish up soon. Maybe I will even take a picture for you guys.

    I got mine yesterday and Im pretty impressed with the fit and finish. One of my Taco friends has a switch pro and these are very similar.

    It seems to have the same switch panel and amp outputs for power though the connectors are different and the switch pro doesn't have fuses inline o The outputs and this does. Haven't powered it on yet but I believe the Caliraised option doesn't have bluetooth or strobe modes.

    Will Update when I know more.

    Here is a bracket I made. Its steel but should be ok. All I could find at the moment while I keep an eye out for a nice piece of aluminum to work with

    Does it have the flasher and strobe features? I’m in roadway construction and that was one of my biggest reasons for a SwitchPro. @CaliRaisedLed skipped over my last question asking that and decided not to answer it.
