Installed my updated drivers side today. V1 was touching, V2 looks like 1/4" gap or more. Very happy. Also the odd slot shape while concerning at first fit just fine.

Slows them down by about five to ten minutes. But in the vast majority of cases if they see armor they just move on. Had a dude crawl under my truck here in Omaha, saw the mid skid, crawled back out went across the driveway and stole the neighbors cat.

    Too much to list
Did you specify 2wd and 4wd?

I see your other post. Disregard.

I was able to get it shifted around and installed with little trouble after trying again today.

Good job. Looks like you used the OEM bolts and no spacers. Also, was this the version 2 shields?

Edit: I can see from you past posts that it was the replacement V2. Glad it all worked out for you. Any pointers on what made it work?

After taking off the cross bar all I did was loosen the 2 frame bolts until the nut on the back end was flush which exposed about a half inch which let me slide the Cat shield on, at the same time while holding up the cat shield I got the security screws and cross bar and just ran the screws in till it held up the cross bar then I screwed in the frame bolts which brought the cat shield into position then I just tightened up the 4 cross bar screws and it was in.

Great info, I think I'll try doing mine tomorrow. Did you leave the V1 passenger side in place or did you replace that one as well?
