Installed the Cali Raised cat guards on my 2018 Tacoma Sport.
Does anyone know what the torque specs are for the 4 transmission cross member bolts?
Can’t seem to find it anywhere.

    thanks.

I know I hate it when someone says to Google something, but somewhere on this site is a 2nd generation file with most torque settings called out. I've seen it, I know it is here, but where? Second and third generation should be the same for something as simple as what you are looking for. Recommend you download the complete file when you or someone directs you to it. Also consult the grade of bolt and size in the future and with the exception of I believe engine head bolts, they are all the same torque for size and grade. I realize this does not help you with your current dilemma, but you will be better off in the future with this simple knowledge.

Don’t quote me, but I believe the crossmember bolts are 34 or 37 ft lbs. I don’t know what the bolt torque spec is for the bolts you loosen that hold in the transmission. I just did all of them snug as close as I could to the feel of them when I first loosened them.

I appreciate all the responses. I saw the 2nd gen bolts were torqued to 40lbs, but wasn’t sure if the 3rd gen was different. Saw I torched to the 40lbs.

35 pound feet if you are re-using factory screws
if you're using security screws, only snug not 35 pound feet (ask how I know)
