Would you mind posting some pics of the wiring and how you routed it when you're done?

I just PM'd the fabricator, Zach to get the exact measurements. As you can can see by his group buy he's creating quite the following for his racks. Could be an awesome business opportunity for you two. I'd be happy to volunteer my Prinsu rack as a model to possibly fab up some mounts and lights. I'll of course pay cash money for supplies. haha https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...dio-roof-rack-gb-february-26-march-11.411053/

He's hooked up with Heretic lighting and mounts but those are way to rich for some people's blood including mine. Plenty of people out there are looking for lighting and mounts at a more affordable price point. You have a stellar and affordable product for my pocket book. Hopefully, something can come to fruition where I can mount your lights to my Prinsu.

Here's a link to his site, his how to, and his Prinsu B.S. page.

    @Jake Long15

Got a reply from Zach at Prinsu. He said his racks are cut 43" and anything 40"-42" fits just fine.

Had to trim off a good inch or so off the cowling cover on the driver side, just on the back corner to clear the bracket. And on the passenger side maybe just a quarter inch off the side and a little fin off the bottom to clear the bolts

@Jake Long15 so I have both ditch lights assembled... Easy stuff. Your photos provided with the packaging helped a bit with that. Also the 3rd gen is pretty straight forward there with no guessing or cutting. I am absolutely clueless with wiring and have been staring at my engine bay for literally 2 hours trying to make sense of it all. Do you have ANY videos that help?

    Your wiring harness has:
Ground wire with loop- I know somewhere I can bolt that.

Positive wire with loop- directly to battery? Do I have to worry about getting zapped if I start wrenching on the positive end of a battery?

Hanging fuse, which is enclosed- does this just hang wherever?

HID box with a silver loop - what is it and where does it need to be bolted? Does it need to be grounded or just bolted to something? Don't even know what the hell this is.

Switch with 3 wires - how to I tell which wire is geound, live, and whatever the third one would be.

Seriously, I don't know this stuff.

Let me say that I am happy with the product, would just love to know how to do this.

If I can get this figured out, I'll post a video of exactly how to install your product... Will be a good link for people to have

the larger one is the relay. You can just tuck those somewhere nicely, or we make a bracket that holds the relays cleanly next to the battery. For the switch. Are you disconnecting it? Or keeping the switch we provide? Because if your keeping the switch we provide you can just unplug it, run it into the firewall and then you can re connect it without any wiring. For the positive. Undo the little nut on the positive terminal of the battery. Then slide the loop onto the battery. The small enclosed box is the fuse, The switch has 3 wires because 1 is ground, one is positive, and one is to provide power for the LED on the switch.

I'm keeping the switch. I got the positive to the battery, the negative grounded, and that hid box mounted up. Then, I realized I have no clue how to connect two wires together, like the wires from the pods to the receptacle wires on the harness. Also, I need to cut feet and feet off these wires to keep from having too much excess. I don't have the skill or knowledge to do that. Running the large white plastic through the fire wall? Forget it. I ended up disassembling everything since I spent 4 hours wasting my life on stuff I don't get yet.

You know that chick you broke up with because she didn't know ANYTHING about cars? Well, she came to me after and eventually dumped me for knowing even less.

I can fix shit, sometimes... That's it.
