Used a thin flathead screwdriver to hold mounting nut in place to tighten.

Took a while to get them lowered as much as possible so the spot beam was at just below the same level as my headlights...wish @CaliRaisedLed designed the brackets to allow 2x2 spot beam pods to adjust lower to make street legal as possible...and....if anyone has ANY suggestions on how to drop below OEM headlight level??? Help a bro out! Plz send over all details if possible!

For anyone else installing these, def remove the grill and air dams to install from the front vs going from below as instal video suggests as the wheel wells are in the way.

Gotta’ say the 2x2 pods are def’ super bright and look great...match up super well w/ the Cali Raised hidden bumper LED spot bar...just looking to not blind folks and stay as street legal as possible...also worried that with an upcoming 3” lift and 285/75/R17s it’ll make all the above much worse.

Then treat them as auxiliary high beams/driving lights and dont use them with other vehicles on the road...

Yeah, it's beam pattern might just make a larger spread. Hard to tell from the website and Youtube video how they mount to the bracket for adjustability.

Your problem is the beam pattern - which is not SAE compliant. As much as you want to aim the pods down to avoid angering oncoming drivers - which as admirable - the beam pattern is working against you. By the time you get them down enough to solve your original issue, you'll find that you're aimed pretty well at the ground - which defeats the purpose of the driving beam pattern all together. The best beam pattern for that location is actually an SAE compliant fog pattern.

What you really need to do first is ask what you're trying to get out of lights at that position.

I had a pair of these but in Amber. I just got rid of them. People kept flashing their high beams at me HAHAHA. You Can probably loosen the bolts on the side of the pod and point them down.

Absolutely true. If the OP really wants to use these pods, he will have to aim them - and use them - as driving lights. That means you can only run them with your high beams. But since he has the LED bar, he probably doesn't need that. I'd swap them out for some SAE compliant fog pattern pods - like the Diode Dynamics SS3's that I have.

If it weren’t for guys like crashandburn and memario1214 educating me. I would have most likely made this same mistake which most definitely would have led to pissed people on the road, possibly tickets, wasted money and a very pissed off customer.

Thank for the input all...I'm glad I saved all the OEM fog parts so I can change out to something different. Been checking out a pair from Rigid Industries but man they are expensive. Ah well...because the Cali Raised came with aux mounting brackets, I might mount these to the back of my Prinsu rack and rig up a switch for tailgaters! :)

Have you considered the Diode Dynamics SS3's? The Sport model is a little less expensive than the Pro, but still pretty impressive as far as performance goes. The SS3's are the current top performing LED pod. See below:
