Do you think these brackets would fit your pods?

Just found this thread and may be interested in a light + mount. Couple of questions if you don't mind.

    1) What sort of tool is used in the install video to install the nut zerts (3:30)? Looks sort of like a pair of bolt cutters.

    2) What do most people do to route the wiring? Down the A column? Through a roof hole?

I just ordered pods and ditch brackets!! I wanted to thank Jake for helping me. He was always so quick in helping me to get them ordered, even after having problems with paypal for a few days. Great guy!

Can not wait to get these installed and some pics up!

There is no special tool required. Our fabricator just has a tool that's adapted for it because he does It all the time. Check out this YouTube link for a video that better explains how the nut zerts can be installed. http://youtu.be/3Og-tHIR_0I and most people run the wiring right down the A-Pillar in that little groove that wire can fit in.

Interesting, thanks! I'm really interested in a 50" 3d curved bar + mounts, but I'm a little freaked out by drilling a hole in the pillar, lol.

Okay, one more question - your brackets for non-curved bars say they handle up to 42" light bars, but you obviously sell 50" (51.5) curved and straight bars. Which bracket would you use with a 50" straight bar, and do you recommend curved or straight? Curved would seem to fit the natural windshield curve better, but I worry about the bar rotating down due to the weight that extends past the centerline between the mounts.

Well we have brackets for 41.5 bar and 50" curved bar. We don't have brackets for a 50"straight. I completely recommend getting the 50" curved bar. It fits perfectly on the Tacoma and never will you ever have to worry about it rotating!

Are you familiar with the BAMF behind-the-grill bar mount, if so, will your 21.5" bars fit this?

Also, do you have any amber 21.5" bars?

    Thanks

So $509 for the 50" curved + brackets? Nothing else required?

I get all my interior LEDs from this site as well as their HID conversion kits. They have great quality products at very reasonable prices. Sometimes they have decent promo codes too.
