Cali Raised LED VEHICLE SWITCHING SYSTEM install help

Has anyone installed one of these switching systems and have instructions or pictures of the install?

I’m looking for help since electrical work makes me nervous and there weren’t any install tips or instructions included. I even tried looking on switchpros site for tips.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Looks exactly like a SwitchPro. Is that what it is? Maybe their older version. Price is nice. I haven’t looked into it at all, but maybe I’ll take a look. I have a writeup on my page of my SwitchPro if that may help you

The only paperwork that came with it basically said to hire a professional if not familiar with 12v systems. I really thought all of these controllers were mean to be a little bit more plug and play. Positive, Negative,connect to lights to the controller and plug the controller in. It's a lot more involved than I thought it would be.

 

It is but if you know how to cut wire, splice it, and use butt connectors you got this. plus it is extremely rewarding when it’s done looking back on it and knowing you did it yourself. Or you can just hire someone to do it for you and have less stress. If I was close, I would offer my own assistance. It’ll be pretty nice when it’s done tho.

 

I thought I would post on here again asking for help. I did finally open the package and I am a little confused. I thought the point of these control panels was to clean up mess like this:

Well that's a bit disappointing

 

Follow the wire diagram that came with it. I put one in my tundra.
8 fused wires for accessories
1 constant power
1 ignition power
1 ground
1 big red wire to battery
1 wire to light signal
And the whit to inside the cab for the controller.
In my new taco I went with own style switches and a blue seas fuse box and relays. Not sure if this helps but I’ll try and watch this thread if you have any questions
