So based on the 8100 nomenclature I'm guessing Switch Pros sold you the rights to their old version? (For those unaware, "switch pros" now only sells the 9100 with higher amperage circuits and other features like rgb backlighting)

And here I paid $475 for one of the last 8100s sold by Switch Pros... :bananadead:

    Sad.
Real switch pros are made in the USA.
So now there are direct knocks offs.
... is Caliraised reselling direct knockoffs?

@CaliRaisedLed I'm in desperate need of more switches that I don't need to run fuses and relays for. Your switch panel does that right? And does this panel also have no drill mounting options? Because I need some high(er) amperage switches for some mods

Anyone buying knockoff products like this is legitimately contributing to the economic demise of America.
Feel good about saving those few bucks gents...

I don’t think you know what your talking about.
Capitalism entails intellectual property protection laws which the Chinese government give 2 shits about and our government is failing to enforce and local vendors here are exploiting.

Please look up the definition of capitalism and look further into the topic on your own time. Capitalism has nothing to do with the protection of intellectual property, it's an economic system that embraces competition between companies which in return makes for cheaper products that are also quality products. But what do I know, I only took classes on economics in both high school and college
And with that, I take my leave :hattip:

Lol. Ok, I guess you’re expert on global economic policy then.

America is not pure capitalism, that would mean all economic commerce is completely deregulated. Our economic structure is capitalistic based, but there are rules to how it works... and guess what else, we’ve it fucked up pretty bad. I encourage you to read Robert Reich’s book saving Capitalism (or at least watch the doc on Netflix, I know, reading is hard).

Stealing people’s IP undermines small business and the creativity that makes this country great, and having it manufactured in countries with horrible labor laws, well, just isn’t fair... and much of this happens to be a violation of those laws designed to keep capitalism balanced fairly.

But keep believing true capitalism is where you can get your chotchky’s the cheapest when your grandkids live in a totally different America you live in now because of those decisions.

Alright guys, let’s put our dicks away and take this out to the playground. A free market (capitalism) means people can buy what they want, therefore if you have a problem with “cheap knockoff” products. Don’t buy them, but why would you give a damn what other people do with their money?

Because restoring America’s economic prowess is everyone’s job. Selfish behavior like this is a serious problem if you’re informed. I care about my family’s future.

if your top concern when it comes to your families future is whether or not someone else if buying American or Chinese switch panels for their truck, then I’m also concerned for your families future.

Land of the free means I can buy whatever version of the product I want. But I appreciate the socialist like control over the way I spend my money.

"Stealing" ip is part of what drives capitalism and economic improvement. If people, or companies, didn't "steal" ip then there would be giant monopolies with no small businesses. "Stealing" ip is the same as competition, it's not just done by China and it's not a new thing. It happened to Harley Davidson in the early 20th century and it happened to John Deere in the 90's.
