Whats up everyone. Long post so be ready

Looking for some advice on wiring up my Cali raised ditch lights and Cali switch.

I’m slight confused on the directions provided on the pdf file. It states to run the white wire to the green switch. Black to the black. The red closest to the green to the blue.

But then says the other red/yellow wire closest to the black needs to be soldered to an add a circuit. It states to do this for third gen. However, nothing was provided to do an add a circuit which is what’s throwing me off. Since everything is bought from them and it is to all be as close to plug and play as possible; I would’ve figured this would have been an add on option.

So, where I’m confused at is that it looked as if the wiring harness already had an add a fuse built in (connected to the red terminal).

I have everything wired up as is with the exception of the red wires. I have both wires twisted and crimped together on a quick connect and planned to run both to the blue wire. I did not try this yet as I don’t want to risk blowing a fuse because I have to be at the install shop tomorrow morning and didn’t want to risk testing things just yet lol

Who has wired these up on a 3rd gen to the w and how did you do it? I’ve watched all videos and all show adding a circuit, but those videos are about 2 years old so thought maybe it’s no longer needed.

    Thanks in advance!

@CaliRaisedLed i May have to call you in morning lmao

Both reds on the switch to blue on the harness. Red #2 can be used to connect your switch to the dash light/dim wire of another switch if needed. If not, both reds to blue and you're golden.

Thanks! I have it this way currently but didn’t connect just in case. And I don’t have any volt meters or anything to test nor extra fuses so didn’t wanna risk. I’ll hook it tonight and see!
