Yeah man it's the perfect tank for that location. I got the tank from hornblasters, I'm actually pretty sure is a viair brand tank. It is bolted in that location but to the bed of course.

Here is the link for the one I got.
    https://www.hornblasters.com/products/details.php?i=hornair-black-2g6p-air-tank

I can take more pictures in the AM for you if that helps.

Right on! I looked under my truck in that location again and see how yours is set up now. I'm going to have to copy that. It seems like it may actually be the best spot. Thanks again for the reply.

Finished a ton of stuff today! Started by swapping all the silver trim inside to black.

    Before:

Then wired up the heated side mirrors with the @Up2NoGood side mirror kit. Awesome product and super cool dude!

Then finished mounting and wiring up the front parking/spotting camera. Now it's wired to a switch that displays the front camera on my radio anytime I push the button.

I finished up the day by finally modding the accessory cig plug relay to be constant hot. Been meaning to do that for months.

Now all that's left is soldering in the LEDs on the illuminated 4x4 switch and putting on the rear wet okoles!

It's a snug fit but it fits and there's no wasted space! I copied/stole the idea and did the same thing as @THE CALICO for the tank although I used a Viair 400h compressor and mounted it in the cubby (an idea from another thread on TW).

Where is the front camera from? How is it wired to the head unit? Love this build for some plans in future

I got the camera from here.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AWRAYA2/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's wired to a camera kit and then to a switch from AirOnBoard. Here's the link to the kit.

    I love it so far!

Thanks man it's been super fun building this thing. Your trucks looking ballin dude!

So I accidentaly broke my AC temp switch the other day. Ordered a replacement AC control unit and when I took it apart i find this.

I've swapped out the connectors on the AC control unit itself but not the harness coming from the truck. Should I be worried or has anyone had a similar issue?

I've decided to swap out my BFG ATs for a mud terrain. Looking for suggestions on a brand. Right now I'm leaning toward the BFG mud terrains and the wrangler duratrac.

Another question while I'm thinking about it. How do you like your Switch pros? I'm thinking that would be the way to go for me but I like the SPOD se's simplicity.

Also how many things can you turn on at once with it? I remember hearing that it could only handle 100 amps over all and that it meant you couldn't run a lot at once.

I've heard great things about those. How are they off road? The deciding factor was I went on a mild trail with my dad in my ATs and the tires just couldn't keep up. I ended up having to winch out of a decent rut. I really would of been fine using my traction pads but dad wanted to see the winch work. I think he may be getting the off road bug!

I love my switch pros. I pre ordered mine when it first became available and have loved it ever since. Mine is currently running all LED lights so it's not getting close to 100 amps. Having it in the overhead console keeps it hidden when you don't want it and very clean looking also. I originally wanted to use it to run my ARB Dual compressor but it was going to be a wiring nightmare so I went another route. It's a super simple install too with the loom and everything they provide. I've not had experience with sPOD either so I'm not sure the pros of it.

Would it power the compressor though? I'm thinking of the same compressor eventually. so I want to make sure I get a system that will work with it. I know sPOD has a wiring harness adapter for it. But i just cant find somewhere to mount the SE touch screen; Since I'm going boost someday and that corner under the hood where the control box would be in will have the intercooler tank and an oil catch can. That's what appeals to me about the switch pros is low profile pretty much all around. Decisions.

It would with some fancy wiring I believe. However the compressor draws 56 amps at max air flow, and IIRC the max with the switch pros is 30. That's the only reason I didn't hook mine to it. The switch that comes with the ARB could be placed else where in the cab if you wanted and still look nice. Another option is the single ARB which should work with the switch pros because of the lower amp draw.
