...funny, the ban on guns on the premesis didn't thwart the cowardly shooter..

 here to demogogue, ..or to acknowledge i'm right about this one?

quote from the article (emphasis mine):
"He lined them up just like I said and started shooting them one by one," Jordan said.
Goh then "casually walked out" and left in one of the victim's vehicles, Jordan told the network. "He came back into the classroom after he left, went to another location, and began shooting again because he realized that there were other students hiding in the adjacent classroom. He began shooting into that classroom again. Then left out the back, not through the same entrance that he came in."

hmmm... all that time, and carnage, ...and no resistance.. zero...

Whelp. Looks like I better strap on my gat and walk around in fear for the rest of my days...

I know every time I step onto a campus the odds are against me I'm gonna get gunned down. Maybe I can win the lotto before I die. I think the odds are about the same.

i'm pretty confident, the folks that got slaughtered here had similar feelings as yours, well, ..that is, ...before the "odds" turned against them, ...

Sheep, I'm doubtful this would happen in the South... And I remember Jonesboro, that's a lot different.

The only major shooting in the South that I can think of was Virginia Tech and that was a completely different type of shooting. No lining people up if I remember correctly.

VT is not really the South any longer, they think so, but not really...

I don't disagree, but it is the only major shooting I could think of that was remotely southern.

But yes, a student ended a shooting back in the day. I wouldn't call it the south though.

a rifle in the truck is too far away...should have had his pistol on his side...

Utah hasnt had any college school shootings..... http://articles.cnn.com/2008-02-20/us/cnnu.guns_1_current-gun-laws-utah-legislature-campus?_s=PM:US

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18355953/ns/us_news-life/t/utah-only-state-allow-guns-college/

obviously more states allow it in fact college carry is legal in Cali but there are only about 50k permit holder in cali and iirc their population is about the same as canada...
