I used to surf hb quite a lot and my buddy is a lifeguard there so I had up close access to their fleet and they were rusted pretty damn heavily for only being about a year old which is not suprising, too bad for the next guy who buys it though

 

Not sure what you are suggesting here,, but the recoil action will bend the frame of the 3rd gen.

Normally don’t like yellow vehicles, kinda diggin the Nitro Metallic Yellow on the Colorado.

 

I suspect Achmed doesn’t care if the frame gets damaged on his Gen3 Tacoma.

 

In San Diego, Del Mar lifeguards and solana beach lifeguards have 3G tacos and a Ranger or two. All their vehicles are red. Sorry no pictures taken!

 

I'm diggin' thread topic and yellow Tacos.

 

It’s just cool to see tacos driving on the beach as lifeguard vehicles but also waves of jealousy because I could never drive my own taco on the beaches in San Diego. I couldn’t just crawl at slow speeds all day like the lifeguards do either.

 

I've seen the red ones here in SD.

 

Oh they are here and been here… spotted this one in New Market, MD. Had Maryland tags and all.

 

I could be wrong since I don’t remember what Maryland plates look like, but those don’t really look like plates you’d find in the US

It’s the new style Chesapeake Bay plate… I have the same tags on my Tacoma.

Re: the yellow third gens; was this a factory paint job or wrap? Curious if factory what the order unit size would need to be for a custom spec.

 

Not unusual at all, but here's one of the Lifeguards at El Porto

 

Can’t wait to see what CA buys in 2035 when they ban gas powered vehicles and there is nothing out that can work all day like a Tacoma can.
