california spec differences

I just found out my 01 taco was originally a california vehicle. i know that california spec tacos had different emission equipment recuirc. tubes and different spark plug gaps. does anyone know what else was different on the cali spec tacos engine wise? mainly im wondering if the ECU is mapped differently, and if the CAT an O2 sensors were different because id like to start getting rid of that crap ( not the ecu thats kinda nice to have) but im wondering if ill need to reprogram it. thanks for any input.

 

its a 3.4 . i know i wont gain any power. im starting by removing the ERG junk jus to clean up the engine bay which i know wont throw any codes. but in the event of going with a new exhaust system or supercharging im wondering what ill have to deal with.
