I have a 2009 4x4 v6 Sport, (6-lug of course) getting ready to order new rotors, brake pads, and caliper seal kit. The parts houses list 2 caliper repair kits for the 4-piston calipers, one with a "boot spring" and one without. Rock Auto pictures show the boot spring seeming to be a round wire spring that holds the boot on or so it seems from the photo. Anyone know which kit we need, or do I have to take it apart to look? I'd rather have all the parts ready to go to and just take it apart once.

Excellent, thanks. Did you do anything with the caliper pistons while you were in there? I may just go with a set of reman calipers to save some time. Originals are Probably good for awhile but I'd rather not have issues a few years down the road.

I am almost retired, but time is still more valuable for now. I've got air and a QuickJack lift, but I am garage poor with just a small 1-car. I don't want to put the Vette outside for whatever time the Tacoma is down.

I see you are in Tampa, hopefully enjoying some good fishing in the boat in the picture! I grew up in Pensacola and miss all that.
