Caliper ??

I posted in the 4 Cylinder forum but thought I'd also do it in the 2nd Gen Forum for greater exposure. -- I need a passenger side caliper - I'm thinking of going rebuilt - any suggestions on which one to buy - every auto store has a brand plus online sales. I've searched TW with out any satisfaction. Any suggestion from your experience appreciated.

 

Whats the price difference between oem and aftermarket? Oem will certainly be the best quality.

You can also buy the seal kits and pistons from the dealer to rebuild yourself if you are up to the task. It's not terribly difficult, but attention to detail is very important. I did both my front calipers last year with one new piston each for around $150 CAD for both - the seal kit I got from Toyota does both calipers. Aftermarket remans were $100 CAD each with my good discount, never priced the OEM remans.
