    Someone needs to come up with a version of these stiffeners that don't go inside the bed. Stiffeners from underneath.

    And go full height to fill the gap (indent) at the top with a tiedown loop like the Total Caos ones do...

    THis puts the tie down point a bit higher and intruding less into the bed...
