I installed the ditch light brackets and trimmed the windshield cowling with a pair of shears. My question is did anybody else manage to get the little elbow pieces that go from the windshield cowling up the inside of the A pillar back in without trimming the living shit out of them or did y'all just leave them off. I didn't see anything in the instructions about them. Am I missing something?

Did you have to trim the hell out of them?

Fair enough. Thanks for the insight.

Yup I also left mine out as well. For whatever reason my drivers side bracket didn't line up with one of the holes so I got my drill and made it bigger

I actually messaged cali raised about this issue and they told me that all their brackets were CNC cut and that it was probably my truck

Weird. I love the brackets. Love the lights. With they would've included pre cut windshield elbows or diagrams on what to cut so I'm not guessing and checking.

You guys got off easy. I had to drill both 3/8" bolt holes on the driver side bracket. Plus I had to cut the rear 3/8 hole into a slot to mount mine.

Word of advice, instead of trying to tuck away the washer line on the passenger side and hoping it doesn't get pinched, just cut both hoses just behind the plastic elbow and reattach the elbow. Then it stays out of the way when closing the hood no problem.
