Hahaha, thanks for the laugh. I just provide a little honesty when people can't see through their rose colored glasses. If you respond with a strawman, I will call you out.

Though I am slightly sorry if some of my jokes (sorry long bed owners) hurt people's feelings, but try not to take everything so seriously.

We are the sending the lazy whiny bums that cry over the cost of living being too high here in California but yet only want to work 4 hrs per day, only 4 days per week and want a Starbucks in every corner. :D

Sending out a truckload of them out to PNW, Texas , Arizona, Idaho and Montana.

Good luck to you all!!

Cali Raised in California , a family run brought the company and name. A Family run business in California. Father Mom, daughter ( whole family).
Meaning they would put more care in there own business. Both companies may work together, but independent of each.

Texas - the original owner sold the business in California. started a new business in Texas. This is where people are starting to get problems. “ Caveat Emptor” - Buyers be aware. ( buyers alone should be responsible for quality and suitable of goods before any purchase is made.

California Cali Raised Off road maybe a better choice? Just a opinion here.

I ordered a Warn Evo 10s winch, premium roof rack with 360° lighting package and some miscellaneous hardware to install my DD SS42 lightbar to the rack. The winch was shipped directly from Warn’s warehouse and the box was banged up but the winch seems okay (haven’t installed it yet as I’m waiting for my BAMF hybrid bumper). The rack took forever to ship and had 5/16 nylon nuts instead of the 3/8 nylon nuts that were required (quick Home Depot trip fixed that). I did message CaliRaised LED and they said they would reach out to the shipping/packing department to advise them. I didn’t really care about trying to get them to ship me replacement nuts which cost less that $2.

All that being said, I wouldn’t say this is out of the normal. Every business can make mistakes and I’m not going to complain about 2 wrong nuts (hahaha). I also wouldn’t agree with OP saying to remove CaliRaised LED’s preferred vendor status. The roof rack is TOP NOTCH. The fit and finish is great. The packing was spectacular with no damage and no issues on the power coating. And there is ZERO wind noise after a 70 mile highway drive over the altamont pass in NorCal.

OP seems to be blowing it way out of portion.

Wrong size nylon nuts? Means those handling the shipping are just grabbing the nuts / parts from the bins. Not knowing what they really need.
Sure a cheap fix to the hardware stores. Hope you said something to Cali Raised LED, so others will not get the same problems.

Small mistakes often adds up. Buyers beware of Cali Raised LED.

I had 5 Cali-Raised lights installed on my roll bar. After one rainy season they filled with water and turned into disco lights. See video. CR contacted me but refused to warranty their crap lights. And yes this is the company in TX. I would not recommend doing business with them and I reserve the right to badmouth them whenever the subject comes up. I've since replaced my rollbar lights with KC Lights and am very happy with them.

I did order the Ditch lights from Cali Raised. For the price and quality offer by Cali Raised I realized it was not a very high quality brand when you compare to the many other brands. It was Affordable.

After a few months and heavy rains both of my lights got moisture inside. Moisture still happens. It still works and functions
I did not blame Cali Raised, because I knew it was a middle of the road quality . I did not expect a heavy duty lights. At that time those lights match my budget. You get what you paid for.

If I do replace those lights it will be a higher quality lights ,I will purchase elsewhere.

This forum does allow us to share our experiences, be it good or bad. When learn from each other.

At least we all learn Cali Raised Off Road (California)and Cali Raised LED (Texas) are two completely different owners. Not related.
They do share a common name to benefit each other.
