Was your usage with standard mounting bolts and locations or did you drill or add more?

I’m not sure how different the tundra ones are vs the taco ones, but mine are the bolt ons installed exactly as they come with no extra bolts or mounting points.

I have had the 0° sliders (powdercoat) with kickout and filler plates (rhino coat) for over a year now. I can easily say this is one of the best and most underrated mods I have done. If I were to buy a new Tacoma, this would probably be the second mod I added (changing the stock tires would be the first). So far they are showing no signs of deterioration, powder coat is holding up very well. I live in a coastal area with a decent amount of rust issues and I haven't seen any significant rust develop so far. As to installation, I had Caliraised Off-Road install them for me. Lots of great options for sliders out there but I like to support companies with good communication and customer service in our community, and Caliraised has been that for me.

Perfect, that helps a lot, thanks.
Looks like the bolt ons mount very similarly for Tundra or Tacoma so im expecting similar results.

The lead time for the rock sliders is 6-8 weeks depending on the style you order! Let us know if you have any other questions.

I hit my 0 degree step sliders hard and now I’m really close to the pinch weld also and worried now that if it flexes really hard one more time it will hit my truck

Probably longer than that. I ordered my sliders September 18 and it’s already December 1

Cali-raised sliders on the rubicon. Held up good I’ll say.

I have a set of CaliRaised 0 degree rock sliders (powder coated bars and rhino lined plates)... been on the truck for 15k miles and 2 northeast winters. I regularly wash salt off truck in winter with power washer (weekly). Im the guy out in winter weather washing the salt off my cars...

Last spring I treated these rust spots with Por15 rust inhibitor, but more and more spots of rust are showing, seems the powdercoating has started to fail on all leading edges and now are showing rust.

I spoke to Cali Raised about this last spring (after 2k miles), their feedback was "Powdercoat is a durable finish but rock/salt chipping at it at high speeds will diminish any finish after time. We have a touch up BK59 finish that we use to cover sliders after they are damaged on trails or during use. We can get you a can of that to touch up and maintain the vulnerable parts. "

Am I crazy to think that powdercoating on the sliders should last longer than 1-2 winters before they look like brown and rusty? If they have a 2 yr warranty, I expected better service than here's a can of touchup paint that will mask the issue but not actually stop this from happening.

I have the same ones I did have one section chip off on its own and I’m having so small specs of rust where you are having issues too. I have had mine for 6months or so.

Have you spoken to Cali about it? Seems like poor quality on their part to have Powdercoating chip off is such short time

literally 4month and 2500 miles before mine looked like this..the pics I shared earlier are what 2 yrs and 15k miles

At this rate by next year I’ll have to take em off…or they might just fall off

This is not good news. I also bought the Caliraised sliders. Powder coated as well. Yours looks like it was spray painted with a can of Walmart quality spray paint.

I just contacted them and had them change my order to all bed liner. That powder coat will never hold up to our winters.

The rust above seems expected to me. Rocks and gravel fly up and hit those crossbars at speed. Just sand and paint them.
