Call me stupid help with wet okole

    ok so gotta say not super impressed with wet okole right now. Definitely vehicle specific but my issue is with the instructions. I’m pretty handy and for the most part I can figure things out(which I did),BUT For the price you would think you would get detailed installation instructions. Now I’m perplexed at how the center console cover goes on. Seems simple enough right!! Well it doesn’t seem to fit correct. It covers the latch

    Anyone out there install this and had better results?

    Same as above. But here in Hawaii installation is free at wet okole.

    that said, I just let mine cover the latch and got used to it. :oops:

    I have a similar problem. When I off road the lid is constantly popping open. DRIVES ME NUTS!!

    Now call me stupid.. I must have had in on backwards. With mine the strap is on the front end.. :facepalm:

    Will switch it around and see how that helps.

    can remove lid and inner cover and tuck under inner cover for better fit

    EDIT. Velco strap is not part of the wet okole cover .Its a armrest pad I added on . Wet okole strsp is under inner cover

    Yeah, unscrew the plastic piece from the lid, then put the cover on, and re-affix the plastic piece to sandwich the cover.

    The cover is just a piece of ill-fitting crap overall, but it does its job.

    I just tucked the edge up over the latch in the crack and positioned the strap behind the latch...........no issues

    I think I might have an older version/model because mine did not come with an elastic strap.
