I'm retired now, but I've always worked since I started delivering newspapers at 8 years old. Sometimes I delivered morning and evening newspapers, took over other kids routes in the summer, and delivered weekly papers and flyers. I've always had a work ethic. I've done hard physical work that no one else wanted to do. When I was a kid working on the farm, haying for example, everyone tried to outwork the other for the honour of being seen by all as the best and hardest worker. Even as a little kid, you struggled to hold your own against grown men. You get the drift. The one thing I've learned, though, is that its best to do what you like to do and you're more likely to be successful that way as well. Having said that, if you have responsibilities towards your family, you have to earn enough money to support them and provide them with a dignified life. I've been very fortunate that I enjoy work, and I never had any problem earning enough money to live on. Sometimes its not what you earn, but what you spend that matters.

I love you beyond life, my beloved Diego. Life is difficult without you.

He was killed in the line of duty, on July 22, 2018. He loved being a cop and he left too early doing what he loved. Our life story with Toyotas started before Diego was born. It is a bond that his dad instilled in him and Diego, loyally, continued it in his adult life. I can't see a Tacoma anywhere because I see him and break apart. I don't know how randomly I got to this site today for first time, and saw his handwriting in a Christmas card he sent to @ABA180. A reminder of how noble he was.
