Graduated January 24th from Charlie Company. Platoon 1042. Meritorious promotion to PFC. Going back the 18th for MCT. Going to be 6111A

I only saw two Tacoma's on depot. A 6 inch lifted white 2nd gen. And a 2nd gen with black stockers. At Penalton I saw a matte black LT 1st gen.

Really excited to be in the brotherhood and ready to see what's next

I didnt go to MCT but just pack everything from boot. I take it your flying in your Alphas? Have a set of cammies readily accessible to change into, have all your paperwork together and make sure you have your orders, if you wear glasses then wear em. You'll be fine man... MCT and ITB are nothin like recruit training at all haha. But while your training on the weekends all the ITB guys will be on libo :p lol.

EDIT: Also when you get your first PX run make sure you grab a hold of some good Note taking gear. IE "Rite in the Rain" and lots of pens. Anything you dont have or forget you'll most likely be able to get at the Px.

I'm also right down the road from you so if you get your phone on the weekend just holler if you need anything.

    541-227-4410

2nd EDIT lol: When you get to MCT/ITB tomorrow don't expect to hit your MCT company right away. You might get put in LIMA company which is a waiting company for showershoes who are waiting to pick up with their company because things are backed up. I think i waited around 4 weeks in LIMA which sucked....most of the people in there are getting out of the Corps for various reasons.. some Medical, Drug pops etc...I wont go on. Just make sure if you do have to wait you just keep yourself busy and don't listen to any of those guys in there. I'm not saying all of them are bad but just have some situational awareness.

I'm flying in civis and going to change at the USO. We were told not to fly in uniform. I have my orders, and a ready set of cammis and other important stuff in my warbag.

I saved a lot of money so I can get whatever I need once I'm there.

Wait, so are you saying I might be gone for more then 28 days waiting to pick up? or will I start training with whatever company I get put in as I get there?

I don't mind not having liberty I just want to be able to talk to my girl, but I've heard phone use depends on your company (I do understand I wont have it out in the field though)

I really appreciate your help! I will save your number now. Can I get a name and rank so I can address you properly? haha. Thanks again!

You'll find out when you get there. I remember all the MCT guys had to only wait a week to pick up with the next company that had room. I wouldn't worry about it though, was just throwin it out there. On the weekends I saw most of the MCT guys with their phones.

Haha my names Trevor. and I'm Perfect For Cleaning aswell. But not for long! =)

At least you know your place. When I left we could barely haze you all without ending up in the brig or something. Lame. Hard to train someone for combat when you can't even raise your voice at them or make them do anything physical. Is it still like that or do your seniors thrash you?

I'm just waiting for the non-motards to crash the party and upset everyone :D
