Very cool thread:hattip:. My brother served in the Marines from 90-95. I got to visit him when he was stationed in Oceanside. I was 18 they shaved my head and I got to drink beer and play cards and surf during the weekend of the 4th of July it was awesome. That was 20 years ago and I still kick myself in ass for not in listing. Thank you for your services

Saw the banana show did not eat it but lost the dice game for her. Had a pfc with us who fainted when our waitress spit out change for his drink. Basket treatment is more entertainment

I was with 2/10, that’s why I asked. Thought I might know you. We were doing convoy security but lived at Camp Fallujah.

I was there Sept. 2006 to Apr. 2007.

If your unit took over for 2/8 around Karma, I definitely met some of your superiors. They devil-dogged us so bad for riding in the bed of a Ugandan pickup truck. We were on our way home so we didn’t give a shit, we literally laughed while they yelled

Yeah, I could be remembering the change wrong. I thought they changed the focus and changed from Operation Iraqi Freedom to Operation Enduring Freedom. We also received 2 ribbons due to the change.

The best part of working on an army base is being able to use "Semper Fidelis" as a veiled GFY when army GS tries to punk you and fails. :D
