Any of you make a living out of photography? I would love to make it a full-time gig but it seems like it’s just getting harder to make money out of it.

Wow on a crop!? how do you get anything in focus wide open.

I feel like my life is coming together this past week.. on friday we banged out a total chaos long travel kit on my truck, and now this morning I got the call that my transmission has been fixed on my dirt bike! Get to break in the long travel on the truck and a new dirt bike motor this weekend!! :dancingbacon:

Took a quick long expo night shot out front of my house after the install. Shot on 50mm at f2.0 and I think a 4 second shutter at iso100.

It's all about how you use the camera you have. Here's a good starting point:

    None, yet.
New to the forums, I use a Canon 6D and my primary lenses are a 16-35 L F2.8 II and a 35mm F1.4 L. I do anything from weddings to automotive to industrial. I am a huge bokeh fan ha!

Crap, I took a couple shots using my OM-D EM-5 MkII's "high resolution" mode, where it shoots multiple images shifting the sensor to 'fill in' space. It's a 16Mpix sensor, that ends up as a 40Mpix image. The detail is very nice... I shot a couple pictures of a couple handguns laying on my wood deck, and it looks quite sharp. But I don't have the images with me here to upload. :(

4 minute exposure. Was trying to catch the lightning on the horizon and two guys on motorcycles wandered through my shot. Thanks to them!

Ive gotten some decent long expos in the desert from night riders and trucks wandering around. Why the 4 min though? to try and increase your chance of getting a strike?

I was shooting bulb with my finger holding the remote shutter open. I had got a strike about a minute into the exposure when these guys started driving through my shot. I thought it could be a cool image so I just kept holding it open. It was actually 260 seconds all told. I was lucky it didn't get overexposed.

Man, there's some awesome work in here! I haven't taken a single fancy shot of my truck with the actual camera yet, lol. Been too busy driving it and tinkering with it, and now it's dirty!

Really inspiring, guys/gals! Keep it coming!
