Dude, post up the highest quality pic you have of it or scan it if it’s a print. I’m sure there are a bunch of guys here who would like to tinker with it in Photoshop. You may be surprised at all the different variations you get back. I’ll have a go for sure.

I thought that at first when i started working here. (been toyota guy all my life) but we can pull some crazy travel. Stock width beams, fully working 4x4, 35" tires, and no fiberglass fenders.. all cycling 17" of wheel travel. :bananadance: I just got long travel on the front of my tacoma and already want a bronco to start building.

When you say clean it up, be a little more specific. Is there parts that are missing or scratched? do colors need to be corrected? What size is the image. A high quality photo print has a DPI of 300. You can get away with 150 DPI when printing larger because the photo will be viewed from further away. An 8x10 at 300dpi is 2400x3000px.

Hmmmm, yeah. I can do a whole lot in Photoshop but I can’t really make a blurry pic better.

Its pretty limited what we can do.. especially since its a photo of a photo. You can tell there was glare in the darker parts of the picture. I can try and de-noise, correct color, and try a few other tricks, but I dont think it will clean up as well as you are looking for. If the photo was scanned, thats a whole nother story.. :(

Ok so heres a quick 10 min retouch. really not much to work with on this image. Brought dpi up from 72 to 300, its 8x10.6" now.

Added a noise reduction filter, then a slight bit of sharpening back. then used a saturation brush to remove the colored glare from the shadowed areas in the photo.

I'll see if I can get it scanned in and as high quality as I can get. I really appreciate the help.

Got that "high res" mode picture uploaded to my server. It'll probably get resized posting here... but I love the detail that came through:

Yeah, the resizing muffs with the quality. Oh well.

That's really cool man. I like to take pics of guns too! These are all ones that I bought used and customized. Cerakote, stippling, grip reductions.

I just took a picture of the BHP so I could sell it. LOL

I got it a few years back, and I liked it. I was going to get some nicer sights on it, cerakote it, all that jazz. Then I realized... well, I just don't shoot enough to justify what that would cost. Meh. Sold it. I have other really expensive hobbies now!

Scanning the original picture will make a huuge difference in quality. It will also be native 300dpi. Scan as a high quality color photo. and save the image in .tiff format if you can. The file size will be larger but it will have a lot less compression. After the editing is done I can compress it back to jpeg for you. Might have to use a cloud drive or something to host the file for us to download if its too big to post here.

Went to Trona Pinnacles this last weekend to hunt the Milky Way! Used a 50mm 1.4 most of the time.. nervous to see how they come out. I think my lens is a little faulty and doesnt focus well at big apertures. I mainly shot time lapses but I got a few shots in for some noise reduction stacking.
