Calling all Photography nerds!

I love my D500 - While it's known for sports and action it works quite well for landscapes too. I like having the 1.5 crop when zooming and it's ISO performance is pretty impressive.

this is an awesome thread! just stumbled on it tonight. i love photography and Tacos! one of the main reasons i got the 4x4 this time around was just to get out to places i wanted to shoot. i do a lot of shooting in the North Delta region of Mississippi, and sometimes you really have to work to get a shot. the light here in August though is amazing. the humidity mixing with the dirt from the fields gives it a golden quality i have found nowhere else. i do a lot of low light and long exposures these days with my Sony a7III and 35mm Sigma. the lens weighs about 30lbs, but i love that Sigma. sold off my others and kept it.

I love taking nature pictures, including squirrels, but I’ve never come across one so dark. Awesome!

As far as I remember, he was my first too ! I watched these two frolicking on Deer Island.
It's the boundary between Newburyport and Amesbury MA on the Merrimack River. It's walking distance to where the river joins the Atlantic Ocean.

My younger brother says he remembers these black squirrels when we were kids, but I don't recall them.

 

Ill trade ya mine for one of those albino's !
