I'm around Stanton and Charlottesville and I was looking for someone that is good at working on our trucks when lifted. I'm replacing my suspension and will need an alignment.

Hey guys been MIA for awhile I've been really busy with work and a bunch of other stuff. Been doing some stuff elsewhere with work and just tired of all the running and crap but anyway I've got an update so imma throw it up thanks to Brandon I'll catch up with you one of these days. Rigged up a 32" led bar that I got from Brandon and I wired it up to the battery with just wire nuts and crimped ends and it works but I need to get a switch and relay for it. Anyone know where I can get one from cheap?

as some of you know I'm attempting to slowly convert all the lights in the truck to LED's. I've been looking around for options on LED headlights and there are some pretty good direct replacement bulbs out there but I really like the look of the true LED headlights like JW Speaker and Truck-Lite sell for the jeeps and FJ cruisers so I've been contemplating an whole headlight change on the truck.

here's a quick mock up of what i'm thinking:
(sorry about the crappy pic.. i can't find a way to crop it)

the idea would be to build a metal housing that bolts into the stock locations and then has mounting for the individual lights

I'm not really sure I know what you're talking about Travis, but why? You can just put LEDs in your stock housing, or retrofits. Making round headlights where your stock ones are is gonna be extremely difficult to make look decent because of the odd shape our housings are. But,

I like the look of the LED to be honest, the "white" that they put out just looks way cleaner to me then standard, HID, Xenon, etc. plus, I've never really been big on the stock housing look much at all, just seems boring to me so I've been thinkin about how to change it. and in terms of how, I'm thinkin a metal shaped housing that fits in and bolts to the stock holes and then the headlights and markers mount into that.

Sense I know the general size of the lights I might mock up a housing and see if I can make a look I like

Welcome HIKEOUT to the thread and hope to hear from you and see or meet you at some point.

Travis good luck with all that man. I'll be on the lookout for progress on that project.

Frank you can get a relay from advance they will do fine, just a 30A, then a 20A fuse, Text me if you need the wiring locations on the relay for hook up. Love that bar!
