Hi all! Newbie here that just wanted to say hi. Just upgraded because:

I'm rebuilding my rig now and was hoping to get some tips on welders to reinstall my sliders or shops for suspension installation within a reasonable distance of Cville. Seeing the fate of my old truck, does anyone nearby (or even on this side of the country) make hybrid bumpers?

    I'll see you guys around!

I'm sure we could take an afternoon and do a suspension mod with some of us. We usually get together at @Bsheriff11 place because A) He is the coolest and B) has a bunch of tools. I'm not offering up his help without knowing his plans, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind you hanging out at our next mod day down the road. What kind of suspension are you working with?

That cut deep... I see now how it will be Mr gang signs.

The hell I did! Noone put the "idea" in my head. I was going for something custom and different from all the damn lemmings and that is what I came up with. which is why it isn't really gold and it isn't really bronze. it's just a different color...

Nothing yet! I am going to get the armor on first so I can figure out which spring rate coils to get. I'll probably wind up doing an Ome/5100's set up unless something pops up in the classifieds in the meantime.

5 speed! Never saw the deer coming so I never hit the brakes which was really fortunate because my puppy, hunting gear and even coffee mug all escaped harm.

Did you ever settle on new tires? I saw your other thread asking for advice. I'm considering selling mine. They're 285/75/16 Hankook Dynapro MT's with about 8,000 miles

I'm gonna get some 265/75r16s. I'm leaning towards the Duratracs in a c load.

Nice! I was going to get Duratracs at first and then I read about road noise and weak sidewalls. Lot of varying opinions though. Lot of people love em. I want to go to a 255 in an St Maxx to hopefully get a little bit better gas mileage
