What's up guys? Plan on moving to the Lynchburg area the beginning of November so if anyone has any information on places to live I would greatly appreciate it! Looking forward to exploring the surrounding areas as well.

I almost rented a place in Lynchburg 4 years ago when I moved from Florida since a cousin of mine lives there, but I eventually bought place in Nelson County. I drive to Charlottesville, Lynchburg or Waynesboro depending on what I need.

I’d say most everywhere in the Burg and the surrounding counties are good places to live. Lower taxes and such just outside the city. I moved 25 minutes away from the Burg only cause I love the country but I still work in Lynchburg.

I was born there and now at 29 I still love the area. If you are an outdoor lover you’ll love it. Lots of mountains, streams, lakes, rivers and everything in between. Smaller town feel IMO. Downtown Lynchburg has really become a neat area in the past 10 years as well. If you have any questions PM me I’ll answer the best I can.

Awesome! When I visited last month I absolutely fell in love with Lynchburg and the surrounding area. I’m a big time outdoors person so that makes it so much better and I’ll be in touch for sure! Appreciate!

@BlackBeauty04 welcome to the area! My wife and I live in Forest about a mile from Lynchburg city limits. Nice quiet neighborhoods out this way and very convenient. Hope you can find a place that works for you.

I am trying to diagnose a bad shake on my truck.
Is there anyone near staunton that will let me borrow there wheels/tires for 15 mins?
Trying to rule things out. Would be a better test with street tires.

Will bring a 6 pack of beer in exchange for your kindness!

Not sure I would live downtown but it is awesome to visit. I love the tiered walk ways.

Finally getting settled in and slowly learning my way around town and the surrounding areas, thanks for asking! I'll be back in Bama for Christmas and hopefully my lights and rock sliders will be there the same time to put on the Pro.

Cool! When we go up there to visit our son at Liberty, we like to eat at market at main, the depot grille and vinny's Italian grill. Hopefully we will be up there in May for his graduation.

Anyone know of any Lynchburg meet-ups or clubs that are still regularly getting together? I've been in Lynchburg for 15 years and just got my first tacoma last year!

I’ve followed this thread for a while and it’s fairly quiet, as far as meetups go. I would enjoy trying to help get one together and or plan some trail rides.

Anyone near Staunton have some oem wheels/tires I can borrow for a test drive? Trying to diagnose a vibration and need to rule out the wheels/tires.
Can trade a nice 6 pack or $20.
