got my cb all wired in the other day and it's receiving great! I don't have a SWR to tune it yet so I haven't qued it up to send anything yet (don't wanna risk it).

side note: truck is running almost perfect again, still have a delayed start on some of these really cold mornings but if you give it a few tries, wait a few minutes and go again, it starts perfect... just gotta completely strip and shampoo the carpet and i'll be back in an awesome truck!

swamped it in a ford... completely. Water in the cab and all. after pulling the plugs and fuel pump fuse it blew about a gallon outa the engine and then after that stuff was back in, another fish outa the exhaust. and that's not counting the GALLONS that poured outa the cab once I was outa the creek and opened the doors

a week ago, just a little ford that I didn't think about... course all that snow from that last storm had been melting so... anyway, it was a pretty stupid move but it's working out ok.

Just got word from Toytec. They're donating a few $100 gift cards for the car show as well as some stickers, pens, etc!

it seems a bit biased to me...I mean the people looking to buy a jeep wrangler or tacoma probably dont care about ride height, fuel economy, wind noise, etc. its like they are comparing the wrangler and tacoma to a luxury crossover or something

That's exactly what this is, yet another example of how consumer reports hates on off road geared vehicles, like our trucks, beefier jeeps and others, because they don't ride like or have all the electronic bells and whistles of a Bugatti. Personally, I wouldn't drive many of today's big trucks because I think they're WAY too cushy and car like. Ya sure, they're big and can haul shit but they still glide down the road on a cushion of air and that's just not how I want a truck to feel. I don't need every little bump in the road like a dropped civic but I also do t want to drive a Lincoln towncar with a bed.

Ya Frank! I'm definitely down!! Hopefully it'll be nice weather and we can get Matt out to lead on the tougher trail. I know two of the paths to flagpole and I've mapped the third but I've never driven it.
