If I was gonna se up more of a street tuck I probably would but my rig needs to be able to handle some rough terain and havin shit haning down where it's likely to get crushed/ripped off just ain't good lol.

And Frank, did your buddy know anything about that area of WV?

First gens win out with a Magnaflow. Flowmaster 40s and 50s are the ultimate douche muffler. The 14 inch Magnaflow is perfect. Very unique sound.

I've only researched it a lot. But you're right, you know more about my truck and first gens than I do ;)

Wasn't sayin that at all man... I know more about second gens than first for sure.. For obvious reasons, lol. And I was actually commenting more on how I plan to setup my truck for the way I'll be using it

Curious - specifically to all of you in Lynchburg - who did you have install the lift (if you have one) on your Tacoma?
My original plan when I went to Auto Extras was to have an honest to goodness suspension lift installed...but the guy there talked me out of it saying that because my truck was so new ( ~2 months old at the time) I'd be wasting money to do anything more than their inexpensive block lift...
Now, my truck will literally dart out of the road to the left if I let the steering wheel go (nothing out of sorts with the alignment) and I haven't had the chance lately to get it back by AA to have them take a look at things. Beginning to wish I'd just left the thing stock...since I have yet to go farther off road than my back yard

Me and a friend put mine on, how much of a block lift did you get? I would get that alignment checked again. The blocks shouldn't have anything to do with your truck veering to the left or right.

What type of shocks did you get? If I were you, I'd just get an add a leaf for the rears depending on what your set up is. Increase load capacity, slightly stiffer ride, more benefit than blocks.

Fuck blocks. Blocks are only for vaginas who want to look cool but not do anything with their truck and also like to kill their leaves prematurely.

Get an AAL or drop shackles or something. A block is bad news.

Everything is still stock as the '13 Off Road comes factory with the components that the ReadyLift adds...
The folks that aligned my truck (and checked it again) have been best friends of the family since I can remember and they assure me that the alignment is right on...
Again, I'm thinking of just taking that crap off and running my wheels and tires at stock height until I decide to do something more

My plan WAS to get something more...but the guy at the shop told me it wasn't necessary

He made a pretty convincing argument considering I was trying to spend more money and he was trying to talk me out of spending more money...if that makes sense.

So you got 3" spacers for the front and 2" blocks in rear?

The geniuses over at auto extras aren't the brightest bulb in the box and don't always know what they are talking about but I agree with BSheriff and Taylor have said you just need to go with an AAL kit and whatever else. Blocks are bad news. If I were you id get a mechanically inclined budby or a few to help put on the lift than auto extras.

Sounds like you have a spacer up front and block out back. What are your purposes in lifting it? Answer that and you can find what solution works best for you here on the forum.

3" spacer up front and wondering issues when you let go of the steering wheel may mean you need UCAs, or somebody messed up. I'd scratch those components and save for some bilsteins/eibachs and add a leaf for rear
