X2, more likely than not your alignment is out of spec and UCA's will fix it.

    Well damn...I hate feeling dumb...lol
I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate the responses.
It was just strange to me that I actually tried to spend more money and was told that it wasn't necessary - since that was certainly contrary to everything I'd read on here

The plan for a few weeks in the back of my mind has been to just take the garbage off and start over with trying to decide specifically what to do... because initially, my plan was to add one of the Toytec lift kits that wasn't too outrageous and be happy with it. Once I got to the place to actually have that stuff ordered - I was told things like "you don't need..." and "it'll ride like shit..." even when I was trying to spend more $$$

    Hindsight, right?

I would definitly go with one of the kits off Toytec they have good products or you should checkout Headstrong Offroad they will work with you and are really nice and know there stuff. Good luck.

They actually beat a few places online for the wheels and tires I bought...

That said, I won't go back there after my "lift" is removed...*sigh*

Guys! Good news. Called Toytec today and got everything ordered. Should ship soon, once they get the leaves which are on backorder.

Also, tried plastidipping today. It's hard.

And Travis, I removed my Ranger badge. Hope you're happy :D

Take your time doing it. I ran out of light due to the fact that I can't get to my truck before 7 unless I want to be stranded in a parking lot on the other side of campus. The lighter the coat, the better. And be sure to allow each coat to dry well. This shit is picky.

I'd really prefer to just take off the badges and paint them.

bigshug: maybe to make you feel a little better.. if you were only ever panning on driving your truck around town and not hauling much, a block lift could be the way to go. 1. it's considerably cheaper without having TOO many negative impacts on our ride 2. it's considerable cheaper and gets the owner the look they're join for still. BUT, if you plan on wheelin your truck or towing/haul ing much, LOSE THE BLOCKS! gettin a real lift in there will typically improve you're ride quality (depending on a lot of things but usually small one do) as well as allow you haul more without as much sag...

BSherrif: bigger leave packs/ADD don't increase you're trucks payload/towing capacity. this is a debate that I've looked into a LOT. While the bigger/more leaves will keep your truck from sagging considerably, the weight is still being transferred to the wheel bearings and going over the specified payload CAN still wear out parts of your truck

taylor: FINALLY!!!! it did have a good story behind it but dude... rep the yota don't mak it look like it's trying to be a ford.. haha
Also, ya, you gotta take your time with plasti-dip, at least a good half hour + between coats for drying

Good call new rider, I wouldn't suggest loading your truck beyond manufacturers suggestions!

And I wouldn't bother with derp on badges, just get some Bedliner spray can and take them off and paint them for longevity sake.
