Shoe creek was so awesome. Kinda sucks that Travis and I went for the first time on probably one of the most epic shoe creek runs ever. Sets the bar high.

No one had to be strapped out mainly because there were no prerunners, but some obstacles slowed up some people.

Travis (newrider) got some new trail scars, and I wrecked my driver side leaves, but nothing crazy.

yup! I'm still running street tires (dunflops) and had one point that I just couldn't get up without a lil help. Luckily some of the guys helped me out with guidance and some maxtrax type deals... and ya, got a little trail rash cuz of my lack of sliders but eh, now i just need one of those giant bandaid things! haha

I'm gonna be looking through my pictures now and I'll have a few up on here as well as the thread for the run. Check that thread for pics from everyone, I know there's already some pictures up from other members!

Sorry for any sideways pics... TW doesn't seems to be letting me fix that right now

This was one of the first little side obstacle, nothin too hard, just a steep climb up but it did have a good dip about half way up:

Stunt rock at the second camp site.. if you can't tell, my drivers side rear wheel is about a foot off the ground here :D
    [IMG]

same rock, and apparently you can get a 6" lift beyond even it's max... his passenger rear was about 10-12" in the air as well, you can see easier in the second pic:

This is comin into that same camp site, sliders, bumpers, and skids REQUIRED!!

    supercharged 4runner

waitin for the Heep and Exterra in front of us to fail at obstacles so we could continue

and a little posing on the way out :D

Damn looks like I missed out big time. Guess we will have to try to make up for it on our local group trip or next time we go.

This was a fun parking spot. Had to use Travis's truck as an anchor point to get out in the morning without sliding into that tree.

Aaaaaghhh I'm so pissed I had to miss it. Looks like it was awesome I was so ready when I woke up and then work called. Makes me want to arrange a trip here soon once the weather warms up alittle or maybe sooner.

I'm hoping the 3 months that I'm in Virginia, should be November through February (maybe March, I'm not sure what they do for Christmas), I can just drive up on most of the weekends and stay at my dads house since the training is right down the road at Ft Lee. The longest part is waiting until October to get out of Germany.

Show was awesome this weekend I won't lie, but like frank said, I suggest that we wait till it warms up a little and the snow clears. Especially for those without and protection/lift, there's spots that are really hairy!

We'll try and organize a meet and eat here soon and then another run either to shoe or elsewhere in the next month or so, hopefully the a adage temps will be higher and snow/ice won't be an issue by then
