    Here's the cliff notes version:
A Crawlbox is a gear reduction box that installs between the trans and transfercase. For the Tacoma, swapping to a manual shift FJ Cruiser t-case is needed. Along with some electronic modification for the ADD as well as modifying the trans tunnel and driveshaft lengths.
The stock manual 4x4 has 6 gears in high and 6 low gears. With the addition of the crawlbox you get an additional 6 lower gears and then 6 compound low gears. It also enables 2wd low.
The point is you gain an incredible amount of control with being able to "crawl" vs. using momentum to overcome obstacles.

I drove another members truck that did this and was hooked.

Sheeeeeeit, that would be incredible to drive, I don't even want to know anymore because I don't want to spend the money to do it. If anyone has a crawlbox mod, I'm leaving that party.

Tell your mom "I take dumps standing up, I'm a man!!" She will understand. Then tell her happy Mother's Day.

Near the bedford golf course off 43 though. Luke and Frank are meeting at the shell station beside advance auto so PM them to get more info!

    Lol...last night was pretty hectic.

And it's killing me that I won't be able to get up with you guys this weekend. Hoping maybe I can slap this stuff on my truck at some point SOON and get the front end aligned so I don't miss out on the festivities any more.

And who does everyone use in the 'burg area for front end alignment?

Best friends (since forever) of the family own a wheel alignment service but I swear everytime they've aligned my vehicles, either I have to go back for some "fine tuning" or my damned steering wheel is not centered...
