Calling all Virginians! (Central area) Richmond and surrounding counties.

Nice truck. For those that have never been to Mission.... U don’t know what u have been missing. Especially if u r a vet or first responder this place is just for u. I brought them in a couple of my patches to hang on the wall and they sent me a hand written letter and vouchers for free sandwiches. Great company from my experience. I live a loooooong way from Richmond but if u guys go I would b down just for the BBQ! Meeting buddies would b an even better reason!

 

Cville native living the quasi-NOVA life in Woodbridge. There's an existing thread for the "not quite" NOVA folks that has kinda become the catchall for wayward Virginians from all parts.

Agreed that Mission BBQ is a good spot. Hell, we could make a good day of it. C&C is 8-10am then we could head to Mission for lunch. About 5 miles from each other.

 

As long as u guys give a good heads up I would love to join in. I’m in Edinburg which is essentially near nothing lol. But, we do live near a Mission BBQ thank GOD!!!

Set up admins and stickie note of a “weekly meet up” on Fri/Sat night at a different eating location in town for each week.

All gen and model of Yota are welcome (cause beside the Taco I do have an 80 series LC and 17’ Runner )!!

My plan is to set up meets at good eating places in RVA and 30 miles radius surrounding so one week we might meet up at a restaurant in Ashland another week it could be Chesterfield etc.

It appears you guys have the enthusiasm and wherewithall to get this going. Kudos to you for that! There has been a central Va. thread in here for a long time but it never did much. Perhaps the tides are changing. I'm still out in the nether region

While I sincerely appreciate the invitation, I'm almost 2 hours away depending on how you go I guess. I'll keep watching and who knows maybe get a couple of trucks together and head down.

FYI there is a Pork-a-Paloosa thing on February 17 in Gordonsville. Tickets are $20 IDK who actually puts it on but Gordonsville not far from Richmond. May be worth Googling
