Thanks again Jay. It was good to meet you today. Hey everybody. I finally got my toytec lift from the guy. It is missing a top nut from one of the shocks. Do I need to go through somebody like DSM to get a new one or does Homey Depot sell the right kind of replacement nuts? Pause for laughing and expected humor okay and Im back. Also can anybody point me in the direction of where to get the rest of the necessary parts for the install. I basically have all 4 shocks, two front toytec springs, the rear add a leafs and it looks as though all of the washers, bushings, and nuts are attached to the rear shocks. I know I need some new u bolts and center pins for the rears. Is it a better idea to get the shims from Toytec that already have the center pins? I want to do the install correctly but I dont want to spend money that I dont need to. Thanks for the help

 

dont think u will need new ubolts for the rears if all ur adding is a add a leaf. atleast i didnt when i had mine a long time ago. u will need a new center pin tho

Does auto zone sell new ones cheaper than Toytec? I have to assume they do.

 

You are much better off getting new u bolts from toytec, unless you are adding a full leaf pack, you shouldn't need them anyways. Auto zone wont carry any specifics, they would have to order them most likely, and they would be stock anyways.

 

Thats cool. What about something like the swaybar relocator kit? I am trying to get everything I need to do the install in one shot instead of having my truck apart and down for a few days because I dont know that I am missing shit.

 

Yes, that will help, or you could just ditch the sway bar. Its Not necessary. As I always say, taking it off, is like sex without a condom, could be risky, but feels amazing.

 

Anyone have spring compressors for this weekend? I hate those Auto Zone ones but will rent a pair if needed.

 

I have a wall mount that i cant bring but i have the clamp style as well i can bring....joben i will have the arbor press with me if you want to use it...also gonna bring my 1/2" drive cordless impact as well as long as some personal tools

 

Haha i practice safe sex sir. I have a four year that proves birth control aint shit for my super sperm! I would prefer to keep it on. Its a daily driver and I dont think I will take it off road ever. Unless you consider an occasional trip to obx off road.
